A tangy, creamy seafood dipping sauce that comes together in minutes with pantry staples like mayo, ketchup, and horseradish cream.

Ingredients

  • 160 g (2/3 cup) whole-egg mayonnaise
  • 60 g (1/4 cup) ketchup
  • 1 tbsp horseradish cream
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Dash of Tabasco (optional)
  • Sea salt flakes, to taste

Method

  1. Combine the mayonnaise, ketchup, horseradish cream, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, and Tabasco in a bowl. Stir until smooth.
  2. Taste and adjust the seasoning with salt or extra Tabasco as needed.
  3. Serve straight away or refrigerate until ready to use.

Tips

  • Dijon mustard makes a good milder substitute for the horseradish cream.
  • Can be prepared up to 3 days ahead and stored in an airtight container in the fridge.
